HBC 472

This hazy pale ale is double dry hopped with an experimental hop called HBC 472.
Experimental hops are hops that are still working their way through the viability phase of their breeding program. We as brewers are taking advantage of the end result of what is typically a multi-year process.

Together with our partners, hop producers Yakima Chief Hops, and with the assistance of Hopsi, we test this hop, the development of its sensory characteristics and aromas.

A silky, thick body carries rich aromas of peach, apricot and melon. Big citrus flavours give this juicy brew a bit of tartness.
